I'm not really a PC gamer but I am interested in Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars. Trouble is as I don't really play PC games I'm not sure if it'll work on my system. My specs are:

Dell Inspiron 530
Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU, 4300 @ 1.80Ghz
RAM: 1013 MB
32-bit operating system. Vista Premium

The game's supposed minimum requirements are here:

Windows XP, Windows Vista (32-bit)

- 2.0 GHz or AMD equivalent / Windows Vista 2.2 GHz
- Windows Vista 1 GB RAM
- GeForce 4 Ti, ATI Radeon 8500 video card, Intel GMA 900
- DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

I only got the computer a couple of months back, and I have an HD sound card so I suppose that should be okay, and I have all the hard disk space etc. However there seems to be a large gap in processor speeds. Will it work at all even on lower settings, or am I screwed?

Also, I don't need to download more RAM before anybody suggests it, and my computer doesn't have superaids.

Any help appreciated. :D

What's your graphics card? Judging by the rest of the system it's probably a decent integrated graphics controller. I'm confident it will play just fine, probably on high settings. The processor gap is irrelevant, dual cores makes all the difference.

what graphics card you have?
and your processor is technically 200mhz below the requierments...but its a core 2 duo so im guessing it would work..

It seems you probably have integrated graphics, but you should be fine. C&C:Tiberium Wars isn't that graphic intensive anyway (the min. requirement is a Geforce 4 TI).
