So I bought Guitar Hero 3 this week and I noticed something. After playing a song (Especially the longer/faster songs)...I notice that the room is spinning to an extent.
I noticed that there is an optical illusion created by the scrolling bar that the notes are on. As the bar rolls toward you and you look at it...it messes with your mind and makes the room spin.
Anybody else notice this?

One time I played for like four hours and then tried to go to bed and I was seeing shit flying at me when i closed my eyes like I was still looking at the screen. It was like I had noted on the back of my eyelids.

It doesn't make the room spin for me. I see a little section of my vision start scrolling up when I look away from the T.V. for a few minutes, but thats it.

Thats a better way to describe it. It leaves your vision scrolling...and if you play long enough songs...it gets really bad.

I noticed this when I played GH 1, I thought it was pretty cool.

This happened to me back in GH 1 and 2. I haven't had it that bad in GH 3, probably cause I got so used to it. But I know what you mean.

My girlfriend gets this really badly whenever she plays. She has astigmatism but I don't know if that plays any roll in it. I never notice anything.

My buddy and I were just talking about this a few days ago. It's called the "waterfall effect". It is really trippy after a long session of GH to see your living room floating up to the ceiling right in front of you.

It happens to me after about 10-15 mins of playing. I almost fell over one time after I played it for about 3-4 hours straight.

I've noticed it's stronger in Guitar Hero than in Frets on Fire for some reason. I first noticed it in FoF but I can play GH for much shorter and still have a more pronounced effect.

I get that and when I listen to any music with a guitar in it after a long session of GH II or III I start thinking about pushing the fret buttons and strumming the strum bar.

it's just the goverment mind control program asserting it's effects. it'll pass.

Every time I play it makes me jack off.
I guess it's just Lars.
