View Full Version : So I think I'm going to pull the trigger and buy a 360, any tips?

I was trying to make up my mind. Xbox or Wii. I was leaning towards the xbox, my gf towards the wii.

I don't even LIKE console games, I'm a pc man. But I'm never home and I have no time to play on my rig since I'm always at my gf's apartment.

Anywho, I chose the xbox because of these games:

Halo
TF2
Army of Two
Gears of War

Are there any places I should look into for buying one besides amazon? I don't trust ebay.

Good choice, I was a pc man too but once it became outdated I decided to pick up the controller. Once you get completely used to playing first person shooters on a console it's really good fun. And the Orange Box is worth buying a 360 imo.

As for where to get one for cheap? I'd honestly try to steal one from walmart.

I would also suggest getting Oblivion for Xbox, if you don't have it/want it for PC.

Definitely get the Orange Box, Halo 3, and GoW. There's big games coming out in the near future too.

Well in that case buy the 360. Definitely worth buying for the games you listed.

And I've tried the Wii, it isn't that great, I think the 360 is better.

Being an owner of a Wii and 360, the Wii will never be my
main console. It's more of like, my console to play fun little games
on every once in a while.

Definitely go 360

Must-haves include: Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, and BioShock

Halo's pretty good, but COD4 rapes it IMO.

My friend wants me to get a 360 so we can play each other online. But he told last night he got the red ring of death. I rather get PS3, never had a problem with my PS2 really.
