I downloaded the Demo last night.

Impressions:
Great grapics
Sound is really good, the ping of bullets going past you are awesome.
Some of the best water graphics seen, including wet pants if run in it.
Realistic actions, no super jumps, fall of a short cliff=death.
Voice acting great, some funny lines, some serious swearing and other tension related stuff.
Camera is POOR while in cover mode :banghead:

If the storyline is good (beyond the little bit I saw) then this game could be really special. I wouldnt expect a Halo killer (thats a fucking silly term in my opinion) or anything like that. Its looking like it could be a really good, intense spiritual successor the Tomb Raider etc..

Sadly, this game is a PS3 exclusive. I think its nice enough and special enough that 360's crowd would like it.

played it today and its amazing, does it have multiplayer online? because if it does then this will be one of the best games of 07

It's too bad that it's not as well known. It won't get as big a marketing campaign as Heavenly Sword, which is unfortunate because it looks to be a much more exciting and LONGER game.

Some even compared the graphics to Gears of War, which is interesting a) because the two titles are completely different and b) because it could be the most graphically superior title yet on the PS3.

No, thats not ridiculous. I will have 3 someday.

But, if budget is an issue, cant go wrong with a 360 right now. he PS3 will drop in price further and then pick it up.

Wow. What can I say about this demo? It was thoroughly awesome! I was actually kind of dissapointed when the demo ended because I wanted to keep going. It was wierd because the gameplay graphics were superior to the cutscene graphics. For a while I didn't know what all the hype was about with this game, but now I see the light. It's prolly gonna be a buy for me.

That's the one PS3 exclusive game I've been really excited for. Once they bring out a few more like that, I'll pick up a PS3.

Any online games are gonna be on my 360, though.

I just watched Gamer TV and they were reviewing this game for the full 30 minutes. It looks really good... all you people saying PS3 has no good games or exclusives need to shut the fuck up. And no, i'm not a PS3 fan, i don't have any consoles, i'm a PC gamer and always will be, but there's no way anybody can say the PS3 is somehow inferior to the 360 or doesn't have any good games.

They now have 2 good exclusive games by my count, this and Rachet and Clank. That means they still have a very poor selection of exclusive games at this point.

Come back to me in 6 months to a year and we'll see if the playing field has been leveled in this regard.

RFOM, Warhawk, Motorstorm are all great. Hell even HS (even though though it's short) s great aswell.

All must own if you have a PS3.

Then theres third party stuff.

I just finished this game today. It's fucking fantastic! I have to say, I hadn't really read the whole storyline beforehand you know I only really had the jist of it but let me tell you, it gets a hell of a lot darker 3/4 of the way through :lol: I nearly shit my pants but I won't ruin that for anyone.

This really gives COD4 a run for its money as my favourite game yet for the PS3, honestly I thought it was great. If you have a PS3 and don't have this game, check yo'self fool!

I give it a 9.2 out of 10!

If you actually truly believe in your heart that Uncharted is better than one of the following, you are a misguided spaz. Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Rock Band, Crysis, Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, World In Conflict, God of War 2.

EDIT: But that being said...it's a great game. If I had a PS3 I'd pick it up.

I don't think they'd do that so don't worry...I think the reason Bioshock has been getting more GOTY's than Uncharted is because the campaign is longer and the story is better. But that's strictly from the point of perspective from a person who's played both of those games no more than an hour each.

Nope, you are right. It would be GOTY material if it was longer. I am 80% done with it, and it hasnt been that long. Great, GREAT game but you naughty dog needed to make it longer. Though it should get an award for acting, some of it was awesome. I did get Bioshock for my 360 and think its really awesome, but, for me, I like Drakes story better (though I am a sucker for adventure stories lol)

Now, time to go get either Orange box or Mass effect.

I reccomend Orange Box...unless, that is, you don't have Assassin's Creed or COD4 yet.

Heavenly Sword and Warhawk kicked ass. Have you even played them? If so, it's beyond me why you'd say that.
