You know I was in the process of making a thread about this, where I was gonna explain. Thank you anyway.

My friend spent the night here and he brought his PS3 and he's sleeping now and I want to play but all I have is an N64 so I know fuck all about these new systems. Can someone help?

Flick the switch at the back and you'll see a red standby light at the front. Then just press the power button at the front.

It kinda looks like I/Q

Did it not come with a manual?

You take it out for a few drinks, maybe a bite to eat. Tell it it's the biggest most powerful system there is and that you wouldn't even dream of looking at an xbox, because they aren't your type anyway. Then after you get it drunk you fondle it's controllers...

It will be turned on then.

It is truly a mystery. Nobody has ever had to do it.

There's a switch in the back that turns it on. Once it's you'll see a red light appear on the front of the unit. Now... With the simply touch of your finger, place it atop the I/O symbol and it will magically turn on. To eject the disk, do the same.

Btw, you're retarded if you couldn't figure this out yourself and I honestly think you need help.

Alternatively you can hold down the "PS" button on the front of the controller.

I just didn't know the I/O symbol was a button. I kept trying to turn it on with the button on the controller. And yeah I found the switch on the back.

That's what people do when they have a lot of energy. I just press the PS button on my controller. Easier, and doesn't require as much energy.

Once you turn the systems on and rest your finger over that red on/off light in the front, make sure you press the PS button on your controller (PS button is the Playstation symbol in the middle of the controller) or your controller wont work.

A couple of months ago i went up north for a few days, and my step dad couldn't play the PS3 the whole time because he couldn't get the controller to work. lol
