not yet you can't call it "one" of the best games ever untell five years after it's realease. some games didnt need this chrono trigger, xenogears, super mario rpg, secret of mana, are some just to name a few. Those are the true greats. yet there are still more greats

The Warriors is definately one of my fave games of all time. Man, I spent so many hours on that, but sadly it doesn't work the the 360. One of the few good games based on a film.

Yeah, 'tis is one of my favorite all time games as well. Me and my buddy have spent many hours on it trying to unlock everything. The beauty of this game is its replayability. It has a long story mode, and once you finish that, there's still tons of stuff to do.

Even if you aren't a fan of the film, you can fall in love with this game. Huge gang battles, devastating moves, incredible interaction with surroundings.... it has everything. The sad thing is that this game is INCREDIBLY overlooked.

In fact, I think I'm gonna go pick this up within the next few days.

Agree, i loved that game.
i hated that one level, though, where you spray the trains. I had fuckin 15 train guards/police dudes beating the shit out of me as I was trying to get to the exit, with that other guy who was with me knocked out somewhere.

that stage was quite boring though. tough but boring.

the rumbles are fucking great though. i particularly liked the part when i was Ajax and had to take out 4 of those baseball furies while Cowboy was down.

THen the next part is when you play Swan (with Snow) to run in and help Ajax and Cowboy hand it to them.

The rumble modes are really fun too. Me and my buddy played the team elimination mode where you have to throw people off of roofs for hours.

Has anyone beat the sidescroller arcade game? What does that unlock after you beat it?

^ yeah, i managed to have a few cracks at it then i finally defeated it all.
you get to play as ghost swan, ghost ajax, ghost cyrus, ghost fox, and ghost cleon.

i practiced with rumble mode a lot before i actually was better at armies of the night.

One of those games I was very interested in but just couldn't afford it. There's a great shop in town where you can pick up used games very, very cheaply so I might have a look in there tomorrow if I remember.

Thank god someone made a thread about this game. I thought I was the only one who ever played it. It was my favorite XBox game evar and its still probably beast today. So many hours in the team rumble mode and the main story. Imagine that game online :eek: not to mention the movie raped too :D

By far the most overlooked game in a long time. I bought the movie just because the game was soo good. Me and my little brother played through and got 100% completion.

The worst thing is that it doesnt work on the 360.

Yes. But don't worry, because PS2 > Xbox > Xbox 360/PS3 > Gamecube. It might be outdated slightly, but I bet you haven't played a shitton of good games on it, so therefore, it still serves a purpose.

Yeah, I've been looking for it for a while. I'll pick it up if I see it. If not, I'll order it eventually. Xenosaga has a loose connection with Xenogears. I think mainly with the Zohar. But other than that it's a story on its own, and a long ass one at that.

Speaking of that, I need to get Xenosaga III. I'll look for The Warriors too.

the game is not one of my top favorites but the co-op was very entertaining other than that i have seen better but of course an opinion is an opinion
