No, I actually didn't know what it was. I don't play my games online to much. I have COD4 but I haven't played much of it so I'm going to have to pass.

i downloaded hamachi and logged in to one of the servers listed above.
i opened COD4 and searched for ''Local'' Servers but it couldn't find any server.
what do i have to do ?

Fuck multiplayer. The maps are junk and the random spawning is so fucking frustrating I can't bear to play it no more. Most often my COD4 Multiplayer exsperience goes like this......


Spawn, walk 10 ft get shot n killed by a guy flanking me. Spawn right in front of a grenade and die again. Spawn, shoot some guy and get killed by a guy flanking me. Spawn and get killed by a stray grenade. Spawn and walk 12 ft ! Knifed from behind. Spawn and run to cover, plant a claymore, run to another area to plant a claymore and get killed with a clay more in my hand.
Spawn, kill one guy, et killed by some guy flanking me. Spawn into airstrike and die. Spawn die, spawn , die , spawn , die , spawn , die - Avg life exspectancy 7 seconds.

I play on 50 player servers all the time and run into that problem one in every 100 spawns.

That's a really good score there skippy. Prolly the highest I've ever seen. My highest was about 450 points, 32 kills 12 deaths. But I'm not talking about points or how good one can play, I'm talking about game design. Spawning in front of 3 enemy players and getting shot down before you can depress the fire button is shitty game design IMHO. Playing many other FPS that dosen't have this problem is just a step backwards when it come to COD4 MP. For instance ET enemy terroritory. IF you have a guy camping your spawn point ready to kill you as soon as you spawn you are unshootable for the first 5-6 seconds to kill anyone trying to spawn kill. You can shoot him, he can't shoot you. He dies and you run off to kick some ass. That solution right there is enough to discourage people from spawn killing. But in COD4 spawn killing is almost ENcouraged and it benifits your overall score and the ability to call in airstrikes and helo's and what not. To make matters worse some players actually remeber the exact locations of these "random" spawn points so if your not killed by a stray grenade then your actually being spawn lurked and have no chance to do anything but sit through another 10 seconds of waiting to respawn after getting spawn killed. No fighting chance at all, just shooting fish in a barrel, and your the fish.
