This game came out a couple of weeks, however most of you might not even be aware of the fact that it exists because Capcom never advertised it. Anyways, I bought it on day one, but was met with an interesting dilemma. You see, my compatriots, I don't own a Wii, so it's mighty hard for me to play a game for it. However, i do have a couple friends with Wiis, so I've been playing it a fairly close friend's place. I haven't played it to much because of certain limitations, but I've managed to get through a couple of the levels and I must say, they are DAMN FUN.

Zack and Wiki is basically a point and click adventure game, so I can guarantee this, if you like adventure games, you will like Zack and Wiki. It has quality cell shading graphics(I <3 cell shading), and is pretty fucking cute. However, don't let the childishness of things scare you off, this game does require abstract thinking and it is challenging. The early levels are easy, but are really just there to get you used to the water. I've found that as I've progressed, the levels are becoming pretty tough.

But wait, I haven't even touched on the best part of this game, the controls! Yes, the controls are really what define this game. If you ever doubted the Wiimote, this game will shatter that. It requires you to do certain actions with the remote, like moving it in a shanking motion to simulate sawing, or shaking it like a bell to simulate, well uh, ringing a bell. Really tho, it might sound gimmicky, but put it to the test! Zack and Wiki feels like the wii was made for it!

However, I've only stated the pros so far, like everything, this is not perfect. First problem, the cute little voice acting(if you can call it that) can be pretty annoying. Although that's not to big a problem, here's the big one. This isn't really a problem for me, but I can understand why some people won't like this. This game, very much like any adventure game, contains a lot of trial and error. When you make a mistake, you lose, however, it's not mindless. When I fuck up, I can accept it, because I've found that I only mess up when I do something stupid or sloppy, so this game doesn't punish you unnecessarily, it only punishes you when you are an idiot.

So in short, this is a wonderful adventure game with wonderful controls that is a must own for all Wii owners. However, it will punish you for stupidity, so for those of you who don't thunk 2 well, this might not be a game you'd enjoy.

Seriously, everyone with a Wii, go out tomorrow to wherever the fuck and buy this game. Or, you could order it online right now. Whatever, I don't care how you go about getting this game. Also, another nice plus is that this game isn't 50 bucks, but 40! Yep, 40 dead presidents will secure this game for you.

This is one of those rare innovative games that no one will recognize because of a non existent advertising campaign. Please, at least rent this game, you can't let this gem slip through the cracks!

I've also had it since day one. It's some of the most fun I've had in a video game in a long time. The motion controls are definitely the most responsive and satisfying of any current Wii game. Capcom really hit the nail on the head with this one. Now if they would only promote the damn thing.

I hope this game sells well enough for other developers to take notice. Zack and Wiki proves that if these developers actually put forth the effort to make a good Wii game, they could wind up with a quality product.
