I'm going to thier show in Portland. I personally know the top management for the stadium Tool will be at so I'll be able to get backstage. Might not get to meet the band, but I'll see the stage. I got to do it for Michael Buble this summer and Beck a couple summers ago. I'm excited as fuck.

awesome band to see live. the first time i saw them they brought out the contortionists, and they were walking around on all fours just like the music video for schism.

also, my uncle's friend caught one of the drum heads that danny carey tosses to the crowd after every concert and gave it to me. it's got a pentagram on it and it's beaten to hell.

still kept alive, this would be it.

Anyways, really kickass show by Tool. They were incredibly tight.

I saw them this past summer in Cape Girardeau (5 hour drive maybe) and it was fun as hell. I went with about 6 friends and we got drunk as shit before the show (not a good idea). Once we got there this band called Melt banana opened and it was the WORST music ive ever heard in my life, was more like high pitched noise that was even worse because i was hammered. (look them up on youtube no joke)

Anyway the show was amazing, about a 2 hour show and they played my favorite song a 15 minute long Lateralus which was fucking awesome.
