i like it alot better than their last album, Amnesiac. It's not as good as Kid A though IMO.

Its fucking shit hot. Thom's solo album The Eraser was aboslutely excellent as well. I've followed those guys since pablo honey - they can't seem to do wrong, they just get better and better

my friend said thom yorke's solo stuff is "radiohead without the fine tuning and direction of the other band members

Thats quite a good description. Like all radiohead stuff its a bit weird at first, but if as you listen to it more and more it turns epic
