Scat/Gore/Porn/etc..... When are these guys going to be stopped?

Every morning when I come home from work. (8:30 - 9 am est) The same person(s) post the same crap day after day after day. Whether it's porn, scat, gore, etc.... Can't you tell it's the same people doing this for the past few months?


Can any of you track them down and contact their ISP server and get them off of here?

I also notice that these posts have been up for a few hours, are you going to add more mods to this forum to stop this crap?

We are not on the forum 24 hours a day. We mods have real lives with jobs and a family to deal with. If you see a bad post, report it and we will get to it as soon as possible. We are doing everything we can to keep this forum clean.

I just need to know a couple of things. When you catch the same person posting the same material day after day I assume you are banning their ip? But somehow they keep coming back and whatever banning you do is not working.


Are the admins at this forum taking alternative measures to prevent this from happening again and again and again? eg. contacting the persons ip, contacting police, the feds......etc.....

It didn't take long for the admins to contact the feds when this forum was under attack a couple years ago. Why can't they now?

The majority of these people who keep doing this repeatedly are using proxy's. I dunno what the staff is doing to stop it from happening when it comes to reporting these people to the authorities, but when we have a problem we let them know about it.

Even reporting a post is fucking stupid in my opinion and should be taken out of the features, a mod will eventually get to it. Less work for them if there is no reporting button available. I actually enjoy the spam, but I don't think the mods not being on 24/7 is an excuse for a 17.5 million dollar website (http://mashable.com/2007/08/02/ebaumsworld/). The money is obviously there if they wanted to hire mods so that we're covered 24/7, but for some reason it's not being done.

I paid for premium so I have done my part to support the forums, but everyone who has viewed a banner ad has probably contributed to EBW's profits so they've done thier part to some extent also.

I think a respectable time to get spam off of the forums in the middle of the night would be about one hour.
