I need some help guys with my ps3. Today, out of the blue, it just started crashing at the boot screen for no specific reason. sometimes i am able to reach teh xmb but that is about it, i though it was a problem with overheating at first but now i just dunno what to think. ive tried resetting the settings on the ps3 a couple of times but that came as no help, it still crashes.

firmware v 2.01, this supposedly solved the problem with firmware 2.0 keep crashing. The thing that got me is just it crashed while playing one game now te whole damn thing wont work. Ive tried hard resetting and it keeps crashing when i try formatting... any ideas please?

lol don't be stupid, PS3s never crash you st00pid n00b, microsoft and xbox sux cos they crash, and wiis are just for yellow people.

My xbox 360 hasnt crashed once yet, and ive had that way longer than my ps3....... Well its looks like i have to revert back to playing on the 360 for a while

my chevy corsica hasnt crashed yet, and ive had it 11 years. ...


i should probably drive that, its pretty safe

Its just with the fail rate of 360's being way way higher than ps3's, i was suprised to find me ps3 broke before my 360 even crashing once. O well, thats just my luck i suppose.

Switch it on & off then blow into the vents.
