For everyone who has had 2 or more repairs in North America can now request that XBOX email them a shipping label. Xbox will email it to you right away and you can take that and your own packaging supplies into UPS to speed up the process.

*Side note - UPS now has a policy that if they pack your item and it is damaged during shipping UPS will reimburse you 100% of the value of the item without insurance.

2 or more? They should be sending me a new god damn console so I don't have to wait.

I've heard many stories about people getting back refurbished systems that break again immediately. I just sent mine in. I hope this doesn't happen. I might have to switch over to ps3.

You shouldn't even have to send in your console anyway. It's retarded.

Yeah whenever my car engine overheats to critical failure, I don't see anything wrong about going to the dealership and immediatly getting someone else's overheated car that has been refurbished to normal operating specs.

i sent mine in back in march, the refurbished 360 has worked flawlessly ever since.

i feel the same way. thinking that everytime i turn on the 360 i'm going to see those dreaded red lights. i sent mine off and got it back a week and half later (it helps that i live about 8 miles away from their repair place). it's been working fine and it's a refurbished one. by the manufacturing date on it, it's older than the one i had. but it's working fine. (i need to go knock on wood now).
