3. Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360) -- 980,000
4. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PlayStation 2) -- 967,000

The software numbers are probably due to the fact there are more 360's than PS3's out there. Call of Duty 4 and Assassin's Creed for 360/PS3 take up 4 of the 10 top slots there, but they are 99% the same game between the two systems. The online mode for 360 is superior, but Assassins Creed isn't even online.

As for hardware sales... no surprises there.
