What exactly does this mod let you do? i'm about to buy CS source, and for $5 extra u can get gary's mod... like i know you can't use this is real games, or do i jsut fool around with it like in source, or hl 2 DM?

If i were to use it with Cs source, what server would i go into that would allow me to use it?....

Justa noob need some info.. thanks.

I mostly build contraptions, but making battles with the AI is probably the most fun I've had with Garry's mod.

GMOD = Most dollar to fun ratio game in the history of forever... endless mods. its overwhelming at first but basically its a HUGE sandbox that you can build what ever you want and pose rag dolls and a ton of variety of stuff, there are soo many mods.... for gmod that is, yes mods for a mod.

You only need to buy one version of it and you can trick steam into letting all your friends lan it at once.

Most of the time we spend about an hour building a huge fortress and then make random monster spawns everywhere with traps etc.

Seriously is the best value for money.

Yeh, its a great game which you'll probably end up playing more than CS:S.

but say i have v. 9/10... is it free to upgrade to 10? or ami just stuck with 9..?

9 IS free.

It isn't supported anymore though.

10 is the 5 dollar one, and any future updates will be free.

If you have 9, you still have to buy 10.

GMod was fucking AWSOME back in the day.

oh, but the v. 10 is with the cs:S value pack, if you buy it just by itself, you have to pay $10... but thanks for the info...

Say i bought this sweet mod, and i used camtasia studio 4 to record it, will i have trouble uploading this to break, or youtube?... because i had troubles with it in the past and it was disappointing.

Definitely DON'T download a cracked version of FRAPS to record beautiful ingame footage. And definitely DON'T use Isohunt.com to find it! Oh no that would be terrible.
