Sports Games

I like sports games but can never really play more than 20% of a season without getting bored and starting a new season because it didn't feel right or for whatever reason. This year I picked up NHL 2k8 and started a season as the Bruins, it didn't start off too serious but now I'm more than halfway through the season and I have played every game. This is probably the longest I have played a video game season barring Madden when I was younger. How about you guys?

I like Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004. It was fucking awesome to play online. That's about it really.

I always played career mode until I was forced into retirement by age on the Fight Night franchise.

The Football Manager series is the only sports game I occasionally play and when I do, I'm usually in for the long haul, like 8 to 10 seasons...

Master League for life yo (seriously).

I got around halfway through a season with the mighty Dallas Stars on ESPN NHL 2K5 but then the fucking thing crashed when I wanted to play the next match. I had played every match up to that point and had a fucking killer team (even though I'm no NHL expert).

That really pissed me off as I love NHL games and this was/is probably the best one I have played to date. Much better than Actua Hockey 2...some games in that were fixed to fuck. :mad:

Played quite a bit of a season on Madden 2002. Can't remember how far I got through before getting bored (NFL games have that effect on me), I did get a fair way through though with the (then) great St Louis Rams. Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk were a match made in heaven.

For the past couple of years though it's been constant Master League on Pro Evo 5, 6 and currently 2008, never get bored of it. Ususally do at least 4/5 matches a day. So addicting. :wah:

qft i love the career mode on fight night, how you boxer gets alittle chubyer when you get older aswell is soo fricking cool.

On football manager i did like 11 seasons. After like 8 it gets gay cos most of the well know players start to retire an stuff. Imho if your into football nothing at all beats a football management game

I watch almost every Bruins game, and already went to 2.

I havent bought a new hockey game yet. I'm waiting till I get my 360. Then I will be playing online all night lol.
