I bought Gears of War, and was excited to play it. After I broke out of the prison at the beginning, and got to the first real mission I realized that the game play was this:

Run into an area

Locust horde arranges itself around the room

Shoot them while hiding behind things

Throw grenade in the hole

Collect Ammo and Health off of dead bodies

Move to next room

Repeat

I really tried to enjoy the game, but good graphics and John DiMaggio are not worth my money, i'm sorry. And I love Futurama, too.

That didn't look very good at all, in fact, I didn't achieve any level of excitement watching it.

It reminded me of one of those POS games you see when you go to Blockbuster or Best Buy in the corner buried under other games. Those games that you never heard of, ever and their cover and title is pathetic and you wonder how the company that produced it is going to see a profit.

This game will at least moderately suck and be hyped up to Halo 3 levels, that is my final opinion.
