I've downloaded many demos before, but for some reason I got on today, and I can't download any demos.

I went on my family settings and it says everything is allowed, but when I try to download a demo, an extra menu pops up and says, "This account is not permitted to download this content with this rating."

Really stupid, this has never done it before. The only thing I can download is anything rated E.

Anyone know if this is just a LIVE glitch right now?

maybe it figured out your real age, which is 12.

You probably fucked around with the age restriction settings or the family timer is on and you don't even know it.

No, I checked everything. It said I have a Gold Subscription, I don't have a family timer on, and all family settings are disabled.

Still not working today...

You have to upgrade to an adult account on teh dashboard.It was made clear before the last update.

If it was that shitty Frontline demo you were trying to
DL, then it's no problem. It did that to a lot of people . . .

Ahh. I'm not sure this is serious, but if it is, how am I supposed to do that? I'm 17, so I should be able to play M rated games...

And I did try to download the Frontline demo for a little bit about half a week ago, but then I stopped mid-download because I realized I had it on a demo disk.

Then it was just yesterday I tried to download the Kane and Lynch demo and I got the message with everything I've tried to download above the E rating.

Accounts that are under the age of 18 can not download M rated content after the fall update.

If you realy want the content, create a silver account with an adult birthday or promote your account after you turn 18.

It did that to me too for the Fuel of War demo or whatever it's called. Guess it's cuz I'm not 18 yet, only a few more months.

By the time he turns 18 the Xbox 720'll be out. . .for two years.

If your not 18 there is no way to promote. Create a secondary account. If you are 18 there will be a button in account management "Promote Account"
