Well the time is drawing on untill GTA 4 comes out - probabley some time next year but what are your thoughts , what would you really like them to add for next time.

me - i would love them to make the cars more realistic to drive. i dont know about you guys but that would be amazing for me.
i tell u what would be evan better and that is the idea of real cars now that would be kewl crusing down the highway in a ferrari 360

I am really looking forward to this game and im shore it will provide yet ANOTHER lot of sleepless nights

There's only one way this game could possibly be better than Halo 3, and I know they're not going to do it.

The only way to make it better than Halo 3 is to take Liberty City online. Am I the only one who ever thought how awesome it would be to have CPUs in GTA be real people? I'm talkin MMORPG style minus the gayness, tricked out with character customization and being able to talk to each other via headset, being able to complete missions with the help of strangers, or friends...it would be amazing. Why not be able to race against people? Think about it, half action, half MMORPG...HOLY CRAP!

Or maybe they could have two campaigns - that one, and one where you play as Niko. With a super late release date, the sky's the limit.

Have you read any of the previews or hands on yet? It should do what you said it should, all on the new Euphoria engine which should be amazing.

GTA4 will certainly lift the bar of freeroaming games, and if you do not think so then you obviously have not been paying attention.

HALO 3 is the worst game out this year
plus I'm pretty sure gta4 will be online judging by the big logo on the box saying game experience may change during online play

plus gta has been online on everygame via third party mods I used to play on little whiteys 100 player server on gta3 ,vice city and san andreas

GTA as an MMORPG would suck balls. The difference is the CPU's in GTA aren't armed to the teeth. The game would suck with every other player having the ability to blow the shit out of everything.

Fuck you, the last three GTA games have been nothing short of AMAZING. In fact, some people consider GTA 3 to be one of the most innovative games ever made. Go figure?

And just to get it out of the way, new graphics/game engines are not innovative. We've been improving those since the birth of the fucking industry.

Also, innovative does not neccessarily = good.

I hope they make combat harder, and make you have to use cover, just to lengthen the whole "underdog" element.

I can't wait for this game.
I've been itching to play my GTA trilogy but I dont have the time to dig my Xbox out and hook it up. It sucks playing it on the 360 b/c it lags a little and it annoys the hell out of me.
I don't really care if it has online since I kinda hate playing console games online.
I'll probably hook up my PS2 and Xbox tomorrow night =]

Now that would be sweet. So if you were to crash into a building you could completely demolish a wall depending on the car's speed. I would play it just to see how much damage I could do.

They won't have real cars since they'd have to buy a shit ton of licenses, so they just have look-alike cars with made up names. same shit.
I'm sure they have the money for that I think unfortunately the likes of GM and Ford don't want their cars associated with hit and runs on police officers and picking up hookers.
