I found this bike, it's road legal and does limited production runs.
I think the Busa has its work cut out modded or not. :D

Thats right Gas Turbine, its a street LEGAL Jet bike! :D

0-227 mph (0-365 km/h) in 15 seconds, this bike needs no other comment!! AND it's street legal.

USA built a turbine engine for a car--I forget which one tho. I believe heat was an issue. Still doable. Cool as hell too.

You guys never seen Jay Leno's jet bike? He had one built a while ago...

This is the same bike Leno has - build by Marine Turbine. Turbines powerplants as a source aren't terribly great for daily driving. Where they do great stuff, is power generation for say a hybrid. Something where it can sit at a very narrow RPM. The good thing about them, is they can run on just about anything that burns...kero, diesel, etc.

It was Chrysler that built it in 63:

it was crysler that did it. The car was great and fast cause it keeps building horsepower as it powers up.... But the exhaust melted the paint of the cars behind it...hahaha

turbine bikes have been around for awhile....but see as its a 2 speed and after all it is jet powered id take a busa anyday....just because there more street friendly and i would have to worry about reapairs and mods....+there cheaper......

i love the idea of a jet car tho......that would be a great project for a wealthy enthusiast!
