View Full Version : Has Tony Romo's star already faded?

Are there any other Dallas people in here that think that Romo may have shined for the last time?

His last 5 games have just been terrible and he can't throw a good pass anymore. To me, he's just a mediocre QB who just happens to be on a fucking awesome team. The offense and defense are without a doubt the best in the NFC but I don't know if Romo is really up there.

That team would be close to nowhere without Tony Romo, so no.

Romo would be close to nowhere without TO, but still, no.

It's what I say.

I hate the Cowboys and I wished you were right, but I have to disagree. It's too early to write off Romo just yet. Even if they get knocked out the playoffs in their first game, he'll still be credited with leading this team to such a good season. He'd have to have a poor season next year to consider him as a bust of sorts.

And his line and Jason Witten. He gets no pressure on him what so ever.

He's a good QB though, I'll give him his credit, he makes some pretty good looking throws.

Romo has had two terrible games all year, and in one of them he led two drives in the 4th quarter to come back and win. There are at least five teams in the NFC with statistically better defenses and GB is up there with Dallas on offense so I don't know how you can say they're without a doubt the best.

Last 5:
@Washington - team didn't care about this game
@Carolina - 28/42 257 yards, 1 TD 1 Int... not Romo's best but far from terrible
vs Philly - thumb injury + Jessica Simpson
@Detroit - 35/44, 302 yards, 2 TD 0 Int
vs GB - 19/30, 309 yards, 4 TD 1 Int

The team around him is good, but Romo is by far the MVP of the Cowboys since he became the starter, and btw this is his first full season as starter.

He is a bit overrated, but hes still a very good qb at times. Hes too inconsistent right now. He usually steps up in big games though so its all good. We'll see what happens in the playoffs.

Are you shitting me? The guy has an amazing career ahead of him. Historically the cowboys have had shitty decembers so I'm not too worried about it. If TO and Romo are both healthy throughout the playoffs, a superbowl is not out of the question.

Has his Star faded? WTF? Lets give him a chance. I believe in Peyton Mannings first playoff game he got beat 42-0 vs the New York Jets. Until he sucks, give him a chance.

I think these games coming up will have a lot to say about it. This season he had amazing games and then he had games like the Buffalo game. Let's see if the dude can figure out how to win Dallas their first playoff game in over 10 years before we either crown him or say he's done.

Who's Tony Romo?

Dallas Cowboys QB. A few weeks ago he and Jessica Simpson went to a resturant where my friend was the waiter. Basically gave Tony and Jess about 300bucks in free food and stuff for them and their party, and only got a 20 dollar tip. He also says that Jessica is the Brains of the operation..lmao.
