Intercoolers void you warranty. They will fuck up your console, and when it does you will be left with a doorstop. MS knows the signs of intercooler damage and will send your console back unrepaired.

Put your xbox in a freezer and just cut some holes for the wires.

THE FANS SUCK

because they disrupt the flow of air throughout the console.... just keep it in an open space as well as the power supply brick.

Cold conditions are just as bad as hot conditions.

...But you were probably joking. :P

I use the Pelican Intercooler. Been using it for about a year now and haven't had a problem with it...ever. The ones with a stand are good, too (says the girl at GameStop).

So you're gonna cut down on the hours you're playing so that you'll get the red ring of death AFTER your warranty expires?

i keep my 360 by the window in my room. I just crack it open a little, sometimes my 360 will be cold!

That water cooling kit is under $300, no idea where you get $1000 from.

It could possibly be done cheaper if you know what you are doing.

Sorry I forgot to take out the price of the xbox itself. I guess what I heard must of included an elite setup and the price of shipping, ect. It's late my mistake, so ya you are probably right.

I use the stand. It does fine, but there's really no way of knowing if either the intercooler OR the fan stands work since there aren't any diagnostic sensors like on pc's. I bought a 25 dollar stand because I feared my xbox would tip over. Now it's secured and has 2 fans blowing into it. I don't know how effective they are, but it must be better than nothing.

tbh from what ive seen on the internet they can really fuck up your system. i havent botherd with an and my xobx is fine, just make sure the console and power brick have space and arent on carpet
