GH3: beating lou on medium.

How do i beat him on medium, i was doing fine until now. i just cant' nail those split notes, red and blue at the same time. Also i wish i can practise on this song, atleast on the split end because thats where i need my powerups.

You can download the full version on xbl for free I believe. Once you have it downloaded you can play it on practice mode. And as for beating him, the obvious key is to hit all the star notes and use them when he is either on a hard part or when he is about to complete a star sequence so he cant attack you. hope this helps.

yeah, the people on youtube are assholes. But yeah, download the song. It's fun as hell to play the entire song especially lou's parts. I am still having trouble beating the whole song on hard however I have beat it on hard on the career.

Stack up 3 attacks, play it cool and hold out and then hit him with all 3 attacks when he is playing a hard part and he will fail hard.

Thats the problem, im not the best player in the world, the only way to get by songs is just i practice them then im more confident in beating them.

But the devil went down to georgia has no practice option, so i cant practice on it. unless i downloaded it which i cant also cuz my PS3 is not wifi enabled. Im in a bit of a pickle here.

Well you can play Lou's song over and over...granted you can't pick parts of a song to practice as you can in regular practice mode. But all you need to do is get to the points where you have 3 attacks....which doesn't require you doing the full song. Just play it over and over and brute force practice it till you get it.

Does the PS3 have small memory sticks that you can buy? or possibly the option to connect a computer to the console? I dont know anything about the PS3 but just thought I'd throw that out there. Might want to look into in.

I had trouble with Lou's song on Medium too but after a couple tries I got it. I saved up 2-3 attack things and hit him when he's on solos and stuff.

Ever since I downloaded the song from the Xbox Live Marketplace and played it a couple times, it became extremely easy.

You can do it.

Plus, I suck at red and blue chords, too. Atleast, most of the time.

Red and blue cords are a bitch because my middle finger always tends stay stuck on yellow and instinctively slams on yellow when i try to slam on red an blue.

Thats the most trouble i have in the whole song.

As for the memory stick yes i have plenty, but when i select the pack to copy it it doesn't have a copy option, just says either to install or delete.

All for fucking free and it's just as good even with a keyboard. Now if I could afford a USB guitar I'd be fecking sorted.

People who have played GH2 have an advantage coming to GH3 as they have already mastered 5 finger. I myself am just starting on GH3 and I have just gotten through Medium and starting hard (I bought GH3 over christmas).
