Radiohead North American Tour Takes Shape
Radiohead
January 09, 2008, 11:15 AM ET
Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.
There's no dates or venues yet, but Radiohead has confirmed the cities for its North American summer tour. The first leg will come prior to the band's summer European jaunt, which begins June 6 in Dublin, while the second leg will start after the European dates end July 8 in Berlin.

Radiohead last toured in 2006, when it debuted a host of the material that eventually appeared on "In Rainbows."

As reported earlier, that album overtook the No. 1 spot this week on The Billboard 200, after debuting prematurely last week due to street date violations.

Here are the cities for the Radiohead tour:

Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte, N.C.
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara, Calif.
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa, Fla.
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington, D.C.

Hell yes on them coming to Houston!

They just announced the cities they are going to. No dates or venues yet. That's probably why it doesn't say that on their website.

I can’t believe they are going to Houston and not Austin, I mean we are the live music capitol of the F'in world. O well it’s probably a financial thing. We are not a big enough market for Radiohead. Just confirms that they are no different from another mainstream band...All about the Benjamin’s. The free album was just a publicity stunt.

Not like I would go see them anyway, the tickets are probably like 100$ just like all the other sellouts.

If they're such sellouts and you wouldn't see them anyway, why are you pissed that they're not coming to Austin?

Its just typical of any mainstream\popular band to skip Austin and It pisses me off, thats all. We have one of the richest musical histories of any US city and It offends me when we are overlooked is all.

Cmon, I know Houston sucks but we ain't to far. Just drive three hours to see em. Make a road trip out of it.

I go to Austin all the time for concerts. Love it there.

^^ How come?

I remember hearing that they stopped performing it live because they came to be identified by just that one song, which they didn't like.

However, I've also heard that within the last few years, they started to play it live again.
