Why the fuck cant we get anymore good Blues Rock these days. All this Indy, emo, screamo, R&B, POP and Rap Crap (Eminem is 1 exception) gets shit out non stop. I want some good old Blues Rock to come around again.

I guess you just have to look for some underground artists.
Jon Spencer blues explosion is alright. But the blues have defiantly been in a downward spiral recently. Try Robert Randolph and the family band.

Pig Iron, Joe Bonamassa and the Peter Green Splinter Group have all had albums out recently or have albums coming out soon, and they all play blues rock.
Also, Gary Moore is still about, and I think John Mayall has a new album coming out soon (I think the last was a couple of years ago).

the Peter Green Splinter Group
ha it's ironic you'd mention them in a thread about the decline of blues rock. The Splinter group has nothing on early Fleetwood Mac, Don't get me wrong Green is still much better than most of "today's" guitarists and it's great to still have him around.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxux5LdmjQU - Peter Green would of been on the same pantheon as Clapton or Page had he not lost his wits. Truly one of the most underrated guitarist's of all time.

Yeah, maybe... no irony was intended though...
PG may have had his problems (and frankly, still does) but the man can play. I agree that early Fleetwood Mac is probably the pinnacle of his recording career, but the Splinter Group have done some worthwhile stuff too.

They did a gig in Leeds and the floor literally collapsed under the bouncing audience.
