You know, recently Sony announced it only costs $400 per console to build a PS3. They should all drop in price pretty soon. I might get one when they're down to about $150 and have at least 3 games that appeal to me. I have a 360 and a PS3, when my 360 isn't at the Microsoft repair centre then it's a great console, but in the many months I've owned one, it's spent more time being repaired that in my bedroom. Fanboys will come out with "yeah ur just not treating it properly" and "i bet u hav it on da carpet lol", when in actual fact it's always been on a desk in a moderate temperature, with the power supply as far away as possible. There's no denying the build quality of the 360 is something Microsoft ought to be ashamed of, and I really can't believe they've gotten away with selling such a badly made console.

My PS3 is yet to even freeze up during play, I can't hear it when it's on, it looks better, and I have the piece of mind when playing a game that it's probably not going to blow up/melt at any moment.

In conclusion, everybody should just buy both and stop whining about which one is better. If you can't afford both then that just means you need a better fucking job.

Not really, I know I'll certainly be getting my money's worth from GTA 4, given my many hundreds of hours play time on all previous games in the series. GTA 4 was a big motivation for my decision to get a PS3, there's gonna be a lot of pissed off 360 owners who are desperate to play it whilst their console is off being repaired for the 5th time.

Although, I'll get it for both systems anyway, so either way I'm full of win.

A lot of people forget that when the 360 first came out it had no good game's (IMO) just like the PS3, but now things are looking up, so many quality games are coming out for the PS3. I own a 360 and a PS3, the thing is my 360 has broken after about 2 months and I didn't even play it that much.

Both console do have there merits, Bioshock is an amazing game. Even though thats rumoured to be coming out for PS3 soon. I love my PS3.
