I still have mine and play it every now and then. I use to love playing game gear back in the day. I had Mortal Kombat, Sonic, Power Rangers, Jurassic Park, and The Lion King (which pretty much sucked). Good times.

I threw mine out the window one day because it was pissing me off brand new batteries dead in under fifteen minutes of playing sonic chaos

Batteries were probably more cheaply made back then. Nowdays they got longer lasting batteries i think.

I never used batteries. I always used the power adapter. I even got the huge magnifying glass that screws into the back of the game gear to make everything big on the screen. My gear is pimp.

I still have mine. Works perfectly. I loved playing Shinobi and Sonic on it back when I was a kid.

I never used batteries, I used the power brick... 5 pounds of pure energy! all clipped on your belt so it pulled your pants down. Okay... maybe only 1.5 pounds
