It's a fun game overall. It seems to play out like a movie sometimes.

All it needed was another AC130 mission. It was basically impossible to lose, unless you shot directly on your own guys, which made it a nice break.

It was the only reason i bought an Xbox360. Good game, but the story mode was just way too short. People playing online take the game FAR too serious. I found teammates hate it when I drop a grenade and kill us both.

I thought it sucked.
-Unrealistic
-Repetitive Gameplay
+fairly good graphics
-over dramatized special forces and made them look like uber bad asses who took everything lightly
+weapon modification was cool but still unoriginal
-I didn't enjoy the storyline.
-the game did a poor job making it look super cinematic, it looked decent, but forces the player into entirely too linear of a storyline.

it wasn't a waste of time, but I could name 20 games i would rather be playing.

I decided that I still don't like it as much as other shooters. The single player was top-notch, but it hardly does anything spectacular for multiplayer. Level system? Guns and Planetside had that. Upgradable weapons? Countless games. Air Strikes and the like were in Battlefield. I dunno. There are better shooters, or at least, I didn't get that revolutionary feeling I got the first time I played UT or Counter-Strike.

While CoD offers nothing new to multiplayer it's still a blast. I spend hours and hours playing it. Its a experience any shooter fan needs to experience.

i love the game, but i cant stand to use the sniper rifle which is what i like using the most in other game. i hate putting my crosshairs on someones face, then missing them because "i didnt hold there long enough". whoever decided that wa a good thing to put into the game needes to be swiftly kicked in the balls

The swaying is so predictable it's a free headshot (let it sway onto their head). Or if they're running you have to follow them with your scope and there's little or no swaying when aiming side to side. The left thumbstick steadies your aim and there's even a perk to make it better (which I'm sure you already know). That being said, there's little point other than to deter every other noob from using them so Sniper remains a lightly used class.

I've noticed that almost everything in almost every game really is there for the sake of the big picture. There aren't really any "mistakes", just designer choices. Call of Duty is a good game, and may the person who actually has something new to bring to the fps genre cast the first stone.
