YEEES!! been 7 years, hopefully they can do it this time. the odds are defiantly against them because its just the pats. but i think playing them before the playoffs started really helped out. can you just imagine though? the undefeated team loses in the super bowl.

I'm actually pro-Packers (I live in Wisconsin so I'd be lynched if I wasn't) and it did piss me off, but whatever.

There's been 3 other undefeated teams in NFL history, but two before the superbowl era. But 2 out of the 3 teams lost in the championship game.

The giants also almost beat the patriots too, so I wouldn't count the giants out. I wanted the packers to go but whatever, im really a browns fan.

I'd like to see the patriots lose, fuck boston they already got the red sox this year and yeah i still get pissed when I think about the indians fucking up the ALCS. also they have the celtics who are a heavy favorite to win, as much as i hate the yankees, lets have a different city win something this year.. so go giants

Yeah I know, it's not like they lost to them by only 3 points already this season.

Same with the Eagles, and i wouldn't be racing to put my bets on the Birds if they were playing. Baltimore, too. I'd have preferred to see the Packers, Favre has the experience that will help him in this situation.

I'm pissed the packers lost I wanted to see a super bowl rematch!

Yeah I really wanted that rematch too. But a New York team is just as good. I want to go to Arizona even if I dont get a ticket in there. I'll just watch it at a bar. I can picture it being very hostile with Bostonians and New Yorkers being around each other for a few days lol.

The Giants suck balls and Favre's interception in overtime game the Packers no chance, especially since their defense played like shit.

Even though I want the Giants because I hate the Patriots, Eli Manning with have a piss poor game as usual.

Who knows, maybe the Patriots will cheat again and be kicked out.

I hope Strahan takes a cheap shot on Brady and ends his career. :boink:

What kind of pussy football team needs to cheat to win

Right...its funny I dont remember cheating to win ANY of our games? I dont understand how getting caught during the first half of our first game this season makes everything we have ever done questionable. Not to mention we have caught other teams doing this to us, but we just kicked the person out who was videotaping us.

Well, the thing about that is.. well, watch the 4th qtr and OT of the giants game. i fail to see why people say this, he isnt what he used to be.

I don't like the Pats, and I'm a Lions fan so I was happy to see Green Bay get knocked out. Saying that Giants will win.

Eli played in the same conditions, on the Road, and didn't throw a pick.

Its been a loooong 7 years, but were finally back in the superbowl. I think it will be a great, close game. I think the Giants can do it, especially after their last game against the patriots. I think the key for the giants is to run more play action plays. It worked for them the whole season, but I haven't seen much in the playoffs. On further note and Ahmad Bradshaw is god.

Favre is a notoriously good bad weather quarterback. I don't remember the numbers exactly, but he had something like a 30-4 record in games under 20 degrees. I'm not saying the weather didn't effect him, it certainly did, but there were other factors that came into play. Favre is not a young guy any more and it showed in that game. He was blowing his nose after every play in the 2nd half.

Eli played in the same conditions, on the Road, and didn't throw a pick.

Exactly and everyone was saying how Eli was not a bad weather player. How he couldn't handle weather below 40 degrees. His numbers would have been even better if it weren't for the drops. Toomer dropped a long distance ball, as did Burress. Boss dropped a touchdown catch too.

Very true. It seems like theres been at least 2 possible big play balls dropped in each of the last 3 games.

That was vintage Favre really. Terrible passes that cost his team the game. He's done it so many times throughout his career, when he was young and since he's been old. It was just a matter of time before it happened this year.

Yeah. The one time they got caught was the one time they ever tried it.

I mean, right?

I saw one or two other former coaches say, Oh, everybody does it. Baloney. I didn't do it, and I know many others who didn't do that type of thing ... It will diminish the impact of an accomplishment like going undefeated.

Fuck 'em. If they want to be perfect, they should be perfect. Try to do it next year without a cheating scandal.

Considering that the Giants had 3 great games after the Pats game...The eagles and Ravens can't compare. Fuck Favre's experience. Have you been watching the games? Eli's been the MVP of the playoffs so far.

1. Giants suck? Actually in the NFL, they're one of only two teams that are still playing. Sucking balls, not what they do. And fuck Favre's interception, the Giants shot themselves in the foot far more times than the Packers. The Giants outplayed the Pack.

2. Funny, Eli will have a piss poor game as usual. As usual as in, he played great against the Pats earlier in the season and has outplayed 3 pro-bowl qbs in the playoffs? Funny though that you say that.

3. Strahan won't do that because he's not a shithead like you.

Eli played in the same conditions, on the Road, and didn't throw a pick.

To be fair, Eli's been playing better than any other qb in the playoffs.

Yeah. The one time they got caught was the one time they ever tried it.

I mean, right?

Actually, to be fair, this wasn't the first time they did it. They got caught before and were warned, and they did it again.

Tynes missing the field goal with :04 seconds left really pissed me off. I mean ... he's perfect from 40-49 (8-8), but he's 5-8 from 30-39? Oh well ... at least he made the second field goal, which mattered the most.

Giants will defeat the Patriots 38-35.

I believe youre right. In the last game againts the Giants. They were more concerned about getting the Tom Brady and Randy Moss records in the first half and than once that was taken care of. They outscored the Giants 21 to 7. I dont think the Giants really stand a chance of winning the Super Bowl, But anything is possible on any given Sunday.

Slow down there turbo. Eli has been playing good but not as good as your making it out to be. His team has been winning games, not just him.

Hes playing somewhere between managing a game and taking it over. Not making mistakes but winning games against very good offenses while putting up 21 and 23, add the fact that he has a great running game and it isnt all that impressive.

Eli has been the best QB in the playoffs so far and has outplayed every QB he's faced, while being the most unexpected person to do so. How is that not impressive?

it was more of their coverage shutting down our WRs then their d line getting pressure

Romo had twice as many attempts and 40 yards more than Eli... and made a lot of bad decisions and poor throws throughout the game. 132.4 to 64.7 QB Ratings, Eli played better than Romo and it really isn't arguable.

Did St. Louis get anyway near the Superbowl? Or the endzone? Don't follow it anyway near as much as I used to but I know they used to be decent.
