Yes but I believe this will go down as the greatest superbowl in history. Undefeated Pats going for history, underdog giants keeping it close the entire game, the score being within 4 points throughout the entire game, then the Pats took the ball the whole way down the field and took the lead with 2:30 left, all looked lost for the Giants, and they made that amazing play which will be higlighted for many, many years to come, and they win it with an amazing final drive. That was a hell of an enjoyable game.

Being from philly,(and no,I'm no eagles fan) I get few patriots games a year,and this,by far was the worst one. Not to rain on any Giants fans parade... but did anyone notice that the backfield ref started waving his hands to stop the play but then changed his mind when Manning broke free on the amazing pass to Tyree in the 4th quarter?

I hate the Patriots and all, but forward progress was more than stopped and the ref backed out of the right call.

By the way, the NFL and all news outlets are totally avoiding the one replay camera angle that clearly shows the ref starting to wave his arms to stop the play on a forward progress stopage. If you watch a replay of the game they show it one time during the game and never on the replays that I have seen today. The one thing you do see in the replays today is the backfield ref run directly into the QB pocket which NEVER happens unless there is a penalty, fight, turnover or stoppage.

Well if that's your logic than Baltimore should have beaten the Pats in the regular season, which would have made this season completely worthless. Unfortunately, Baltimore does not know how to snap the ball before time runs out, which gave the Pats the win. So New England got lucky then. Luck is part of the game. Yeah, but this win was way more epic than if the Giants would have won by 4 touchdowns. This was straight up theivery bitch slap last night and that is WAY worse than getting blown out.

Blow outs mean one team has no hope pretty much by the 2nd quarter. The Giants and Patriots were both in this game from the get go till the final second ticked off. That hurts alot more for New England to come that close and be a play or two away from being the difference than just playing an overall shit game and getting blown up quick.

What are you talking about? NFL rules state that they have to play until the clock hits 0:00. The coach should have showed his team some respect and walked off the field with them. Instead, he left them to be defeated alone.

They also fucked them over earlier in the drive. The clock kept going after one of the incompletions, and when they were supposed to stop it for the ref to decide if they got a first down or not. So shut up, grow a pair, and quit whining.
