Yahoo fantasy baseball is up and running now.

Let's start with Johan Santana going to the New York Mets.Gotta figure his numbers get even better in the NL with a better team - early mock drafts had him slipping to bottom of the 1st rd - does he jump back into top 5 status now?

So where does he rank now overall?

Yeah lets do a league. Supbro was the league champ last year lol.

Johan will probably dominate the NL. His record last year was not as good, but he still lead in strike outs and stuff. And NL offenses are a little weaker than the AL.

Also, Johan is bound to do better in NL. He gets to strike out pitchers 3+ times a game.

My ranking of the young guns(for thoses who play keeper leagues or dynasty):

Braun - one of the best young players in the game. Plus power and speed numbers for you. BA can't remain this high with that many strikeouts. Defense sucks, but Milwaukee sucks defensively almost all over the field so nobody cares.

Uptons - BJ is superior now, scouts say Justin will be later. BJ qualifies at 2B and OF this year - he can go 20/20 in his sleep.

Gordon - shouldn't have skipped AAA and it showed in the 1st half last year. Buy low now while people think he isn't worth the hype

Adam"Not Pacman"Jones - limited to LF because of his arm, has to share with Diaz

Maybin - Florida will play him all day - could whiff 170 times this year but could also steal 30 bags and hit 15-18 homers.

Hunter - Cedric Hunter of the Padres? He's a ways off and right now, his batting average is his only attractive skill.

I'll join.

I think Santana will be the best pitcher this year, and everyone should be expecting Albert Pujols to rebound and have a big year.

I'm in favor of Rotisserie. They have an inning limit on SPs right? Because it just gets faggoty when people add and drop SPs according to who's pitching on a particular day.

Yeah I know this one league I was in a guy made 450 moves, he would add pitchers every night. You can set max moves for teams.

Yes.Albert Pujols may start off on teh DL before opening day. It's bin reported by rotoworld, Pujols is still having problems with his oblique muscle.

What I've heard is that he hurt his elbow in 2003, but he played through the pain until last year, when it got really bad. He says if it's like that again this year he'll end the season early and just get the surgery.

This really throws a kink into the draft, because what are you supposed to do with him? You don't want a guy that might have surgery half-way into the season.

Another interesting guy in the fantasy draft will be Fransisco Liraino (sp?) I wonder how well he'll come back from his injury.
