UFC/Pride Favorites

Who are your UFC and/or Pride favorites? For Pride, I personally like Takanori Gomi. Incredible striker and pretty good at grappling. For UFC I'd have to go for George St. Pierre. His cocky ass brings a lot of entertainment to the cage and his fights always show some different type of creative combat.

PRIDE isn't around anymore, so Gomi isn't a PRIDE fighter.

Erm, what do you mean? It was bought out by UFC but there are still pride fights.

Yes, but since PRIDE is no longer an organization those fighters can't be considered PRIDE fighters.

For example, Fedor is a M-1 Fighter, Big Nog and Shogun are UFC fighters, Pride doesn't exist anymore so there are no more PRIDE fighters.

I don't think I get as excited for anyone else as much as I do for Jaochim "Hellboy" Hansen and Shinya Aoki.

Fedor was awesome when he wasn't fighting tomato cans, but he hasn't had a real legit fight since 06. I just don't really get excited to see Fedor vs "Guy who has no chance"(Lindland, Hong Man, Coleman....)

I think you're misinterpreting the definition of cocky with confidence. Going into a fight knowing you're going to win is every fighter's mindset. No fighter says "well I probably won't win cuz _____ is better than me" You want cocky talk to Tito, Crazy Horse, or Frank Shamrock.

Cocky and confidence are 2 different things. Any fighters you can think of that don't have any confidence?

Did Hunt confirm that he is signing with Hustle? With Pride virtually being resurrected with this new "DREAM" org. I could see him possibly signing with him, but he was still one of my favorites to watch either way.
