Where did you hear that? How would that make him good at guitar hero? I think its some kid who made a bot and acted like he was playing the song. If you listen to his strumming its pretty sporadic and doesn't go with the song at all times. 2) Strumming is WAY off in some parts, even with hammer on's and off's.
3) Whammying is the biggest giveaway: The bot whammy's ALL held notes really really fast, in this video, it's exactly the same way, this kid is NOT whammying that fast.

Conclusion: Faked by a video editing nerd.
