yea, im trying to get a hold of some decent parts for a dedicated server.

do you guys think a a64x2 4800+ with 2gigs ddr400 and a 120gb maxtor diamondmax 9 would be good enough for a server?

quite superior

so, if you guys want to play i will plan on starting a server tonight (feb 25) at 9:00pm central time if it works for most of you. i will be on xfire.
we also need to get a voip thing goin. any suggestions?

You can run a dedicated server on a pretty sub par system, the fact is most home internet connections don't have the sustained bandwidth that a good server requires. So just rent a server unless you like playing in constant lag.
