This probably has been posted before since the information is quite old. But since I can't find a thread on it, I'll post it and hope it is the first time.

I want to get my hand on one of these puppies when they arrive to the U.S. :P

That a ton of torque. It reminds me a lot of the Grand National's factory numbers (who thought 245 hp could be so fast?), but I think I'll take my money elsewhere.

Thanks. Good post.

That is a surprising amount of torque, too bad the only people driving it will be middle-aged men in suits who like cutting other drivers up because they have a german luxury car.

That in a 3-series BMW will be a recipe for success, except that they already came out with the 335i and that is going to make for a very confusing line-up. I'd much rather take a 335d over a 335i -- as much as I love the 335i, I'm sorry to say I would just have to do it!!

Edit: Car and Driver 335d road test! (http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_lists/car_shopping/green_machines/2007_bmw_335d_coupe_first_drive_review)

I'd take the diesel just for the fact you can fill er up in half the time.

And the torque would be sexy
