HOLY SHIT THIS IS WEIRD.
I just got the game yesterday and have been playing for hours. I was about to make a thread about it to see if anybody else has it or plays it.
Wow. I'm scared.
Anyway, it's a good game I think. The story behind it is interesting so far and it's a different game then most of the stuff I have been playing. I like it so far, and it's even kind of a hard game.

I really enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't "zomg best game of the year!" or anything, but one I would definitely recommend. Take some time to get into it, and you'll enjoy it.
It is difficult though, and I know a lot of people hate it. Most of those people are 13-year old x-box fanboi's though.
I remember the first time going into the sewers, I almost pissed myself when that mutant surprised me.

Its a different game, take your time with it. But at the end of the day its a really decent shooter.
Definately worth getting if you like oblivion and like guns and russian ... and cool bullet physics ... and creepy abandoned underground labs.

I went to Best Buy a while ago to buy it, and I ended up buying a drink and a DVD as well. Later that day I was thinking to myself, "Wtf, did all of that only cost $20?" I get out my receipt and check, and the lady didn't charge me for the game. Which is good because I never actually played it lawl

I think you might manage. According to wiki, you surpass the min. specs.
I played it for a while, but got frustrated after a while (when it got scary, combined with crappy framerate), and I quit. I'd buy it if it were cheap though, it's a good game, but you'll need some patience. It can be a tough game, both because of the enemies (THEY WILL SNEAK UP ON YOU!), and the gameplay (weight really makes it challenging to decide which weapons to use and which ammo to carry even).
I love walking into a random fight as well. It's great to walk past an abandoned house, hear some gunfire, and see that there's a fight going on between NPC's.
It isn't a great game, and it isn't a bad game. It's a decent game. I think I would have played it a lot more if my laptop could run it smoothly. Firefights suck when it takes a while to load the enemy shooting at you.

I loved it. The different endings were very nice too. I especially loved the (without spoiling it) gold-nut ending. Those of you that had that ending, the easiest one, will know what I am talking about. Or the Scientist who explains it all is very nice. All in all, a very worthy investment. There are plenty of patches for the game now that fix all the issues I had when it was first released.

for $11 dollars, yeah, it's good. It was a pretty fun game... a few bugs, but nothing horrible.

Does anyone else really love the CGI pre-rendered footage in this game? I thought for a small game development company they where pretty fucking good.

When you start off, you might not think there's much, but the game does have a very atmospheric world, good controls, and some cool rpg elements. I'd definitely recommend it for $11.

I wish I had my old computer so I could play this again. That game had a great atmosphere.
