PS3, Xbox? which one should i get?

Im getting a new game system soon. I have a Wii, im orobably gonna sell it and get either a PS3, Xbox 360 or a new computer, im leaning towards the 360 because of its price and quality. But i want MGS4, and MGO so baaad. If Xbox had MGS4 it would be a no brainer. What do you guys think?

The only real problem i have with the 360 is that i dont wanna pay for live, but i know im gonna. How much does live cost? Also i dont know about PC's, they are very pricey.
Help me out!

Yeah i was thinking that too. Mostly because of blue-ray winning and not too long from now 360 may end up outdated in a year, maybe two, when the new Xbox will be announced maybe. lol.

360 is outdated compared to ps3 but im confident microsoft will not react

not many cons about the ps3 so far

id say get both, but an xbox 360 arcade version and 80gb ps3.

I've been hearing this for over a year now. Still waiting to see when PS3 magically becomes dominant in terms of games.

360 if you have friends. In all seriousness they're both great and pretty damn powerful machines, and 360 is my favorite but you should get whatever you think you would like best.

Xbox had it's run but it's not going to be at the top much longer since HD-dvd is going to be obsolete. PS3 is more versatile

So youre saying theres other topics telling Dcam0326 which system he should get? Oh thanks edgecrusher. Plus i dont plan on using this poll to choose, im just seeing the pros and cons, i dont need any more of your two-sense, so this thread is as good as done.

p.s. In the end ive already decided on the PS3. Thank you Aooga for being the only one who happened to help me.

I said it once, big companies are starting to endorse the Blu-ray. In the long run, it's probably wiser to get the PS3

It all depends on the games you want to play.

Edit : Think about it... Would you rather play Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion(EPIC GAME), ect. OR Uncharted : Drake's Fortune, Unreal Tournament, ect.

The choice is obvious.
