I googled hybrid HEMI and got this (http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2007/04/hybrid_hemi_chr.html)as the first natural result.

Several other results after echoed that.

No HEMI's these days are true HEMI's really. The heads aren't hemispherical anymore, they've been using a pentroof design for a long time now.

i know the ones today aren't real ones i was just making a point.

Kinda off topic I know chrysler has hemi and ford has boss but what did chevy/gm have as far as a engine design that was similar?

I don't recall anything from GM around that time that could be considered close to those. The 409 had some interesting chambers though, the head was completely flat, the chamber was in the block. It had the advantage of totally unshrouded valves.

Shit, Ford got smoked by the Hemi in NASCAR, can't really say a Ford engine is better than the 426 for that very reason.

When did they stop making the last true HEMI...

Also a certified green Chrysler dealership is currently under construction in Florida in which they are spending 3 billion in fuel efficiency and technology.

From what i found looks like Porsche was using hemi heads until about 1999. if thats kind what you mean.

Around the 70s the development dropped out and they slowly died away :( .

There was 1... ONE 1969 Camaro that had a 302 with Hemi heads. It was a test car that was suposed to get crushed, but it was lost. It was on Ebay A week ago. That car was sexy. Its awesome, but being built by Smokey Yunick, it doesn't surprise me. He built some really out there stuff. Like a 454 BBC making over 800hp while having nice street manners and getting 20mpg in a 3200lb car.
