I'm still thinking about this one and will vote later, but I'm leaning towards yes. Thoughts/Arguments?

If perfect according to the expectations of a single person, probably. If perfect to the expectations of everyone, no.

Perfect in terms of technique and execution? Definitely yes. I have witnessed Jordan Rudess do it quite a large number of times - and not very easy songs, either.

What does it mean to play a piece of music "perfectly"?

I know, this is kind of a vague question...

Kind of depends on what you mean by that. Perfect from the point of view of the writer/artist? Yeah I think thats possible, as they are the ones who know what 'perfect' actually is to them.

perfection should be something everyone can agree on. music is so subjective (and that's what makes it great) that it can't be perfect. if you think a song is perfect, and I don't, then it's not perfect.

Yes, but it hasn't been done in about 150 years.

Yes, it is very possible. Just play exactly what it is written to be played, and you've done it.
