Lol I thought this was a joke too...it's like one of the worst genres of music...There are some good post-hardcore bands though like:
At The Drive-In
Drive Like Jehu
Thrice
Fugazi
Hot Water Music..................honestly can't think of anymore

That's really who I'm talking about.
Plus:
Bear Vs. Shark
Cursive
Avail
Polar Bear Club
That's really all the post-hardcore I listen to. But those bands are indeed amazing. There's probably some pretty shitty post-hardcore bands out there that I don't even know about, yeah?

Cursive's considered post-hardcore? Thought they were more indie/emo(real emo, not fallout boy emo)...Still good regardless and from my city

Yes, madball is indeed radical stuff. You know that track on Hold It Down where in the beginning freddy is like "Fuck Yaaaooouu"...That shit is hilarious every time.

While bands like Hatebreed and Blood for Blood tried to emulate the mid 80's hardcore explosion, it was never the same. As far as Madball goes, I preferred Agnostic Front.
In regards to post hardcore, such as Isis and Red Sparowes, if that's what is being referenced, than I wholeheartedly concur.

Maybe it's because I'm old, but aren't all of these bands emo?

Actually. Isis and Red Sparowes are considered post-metal/post-rock, not post-hardcore. But good bands nonetheless.

Yup, <3 AHC.
I missed 50 Lions at Horizons last year, gutted. Then I got kicked in the head after Her Nightmare and No Apologies, so all i remember is The Warriors and Parkway, both of whom fucking ripped the shit up.
Best songs of the night? Bulls on Parade played by The Warriors and Boneyards from Parkway.

I tried to get into the warriors, they have some awesome riffs, but I just can't stand that dudes voice...plus their fanbase is mostly annoying sluts. Check out Donnybrook or Lose None if you haven't heard them already...lose none is some radical west coast gangster hardcore...oh yea and On A Warpath also.

I'm not really into The Warriors, but they played an excellent cover. The Stone Grinds is the only other song of theirs I know. Lose None sounds like the American equivalent of Deez Nuts.

OMG I totally know what you're talking about, I have a song from them called "Set The STage" on my Itunes and guitar riffs and drums are fucking awesome but the guy's voice is so corny and annoying...

Edit: I know what you mean now, he sounds like a 12 year old girl on track. He's so much better live though.
