Hows the Mass Effect DLC?

i was thinking of getting it but i want to hear some opinions, and from the threads i see a lot of you have ME, and i trust your (brutally honest) opinions more then the fan-boy ME website.

i thought mass effect was good.... but its too much talking!!! not enough killing! story is nice though..i just need more killing.

^ lol Mass Effect is like a book, dude. It was alright with me. It was fun reading those big words and understanding it at the same time. I'm stuck where you're supposed to kill all these zombie thingies and these clones keep coming out this cloning alien thing. The problem is that I don't have anymore MEDI GELS so it's hard as fuck with low health. I've attempted to do this part about ten times. Haven't touched it since.

that parts pretty tricky. what i do i lock up the asari clone using stasis or w/e else, then i back up so the zombies run at you in a line-ish format. then i use throw on the one thats first in line which knocks a few back. then i just backpedal and shoot, then finish off the asari clone. basically let then come to you.

Yeah, that part is ridiculous. I swore quite a bit. But.. about the DLC, I'm also curious about whether it's worth it. I'll probably just wait and download it before the next game comes out (whenevr that is) and play the whole thing over again.

the story doesn't grow as well as Kotor's not too many new things introduced...if you played Kotor something new seemed to appear and made it interesting

I found the DLC pretty damn fun, it gives you a few opportunities to use your extended chat features(renegade or paragon), which was neat... and once you beat it you get to chose between several really good items. As far as the storyline goes its a nice little addition to the overall feel of the game, it gives you a little bit more insight on whats been going on with the humans, as well as giving you a feeling of accomplishment when you're done.
