You're trapped on a deserted island for the rest of your life, you can choose any five games to have with you, which do you pick? (No online)
For me, probably..
5. DDR
4. Civilization IV
3. GTA San Andreas
2. Oblivion
1. Morrowind
No online? Damn - WoW would pretty much cover the entire list. Anyways:
5) Oblivion
4) Legend of Zelda: OoT
3) Star Wars: KOTOR
2) Rock Band
1) GTA: San Andreas

5 - Shadow of the Colossus
4 - Super Mario All-Stars
3 - Madden '08
2 - Resident Evil 4
1 - GTA San Andreas
These are the top 5 games I never get tired of playing.
KOTOR (best video game ever created)
LoZ: OoT
Bioshock
Super Mario World
Metroid Prime
Would be different if you hadnt said no online though.

5. Crysis because of the sandbox editor.
4. Age of Empires II
3. Grand Theft Auto IV (or Vice City if you're gonna be a bitch.)
2. Oblivion (can I still download mods even if there's no online?)
1. KOTOR

In no particular order
Halo: CE
Morrowind
God of War II
Zelda OOT
Super Mario Bros. 3
Not necessarily the "best" games I've played, but I always go back and replay those...and Morrowind i've never actually finished.

StarCraft 2
GTA IV
Supah Mario
FFVII or FFXIII
Orange Box
That pretty much covers all genres and all awesome single player.
Though finding time to play them while trying to survive and having a power source on an island seem a bit far fetched.

Me too, and I was going to mention Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places) (2nd in the series). Oh well, props to whomever remembers that wicked game.
As for my 5, I'd take
1) Mario Allstars
2) That bonus disk that I think came with windwaker for gamecube that had all the Zelda games from NES to both N64 ones
3) Grand Theft Auto: SA
4) Oblivion (have never played it, but I think bringing something new to play would be a good idea and I've heard good things about it/seen it in like 7 posts already)
5) Guitar Hero 3

When I saw the thread title, I thought it would be about games like the DS 'Lost in Blue' series.

Yeah, thread hijack!

Stranded 1 and 2. I've only played 2, but it's pretty sweet. You have to learn to survive on your island by creating tools, finding food, and building a shelter. Pretty awesome. The only downside, is it's only really hard in the beginning and gets pretty easy once you have a few of the basics set.
Zelda: Wind Waker. Sure, it's not exactly a "trapped" on an island game. But it does have that sort of feel to it sometimes. Really, if you haven't tried out this Zelda game, you're totally missing out. The graphical style is amazing, and the sailing mechanic is actually really cool and sometimes therapeutic (but can be a bit tedious at times).

That's all I have!

Agreed. Wind Waker was far better than Twilight Princess.

Ugh, EB fags! RTR ftw.
RTR? Are you joking? They released 6.0 like 2 years ago, which was decent but historically inaccurate, then some fat fuck that was on the team ripped them off by stealing donation money, then he kept the original RTR website up to fool people into downloading what they thought was RTR 6 but in actual fact was just a bundle of spyware which he made money from.
Then they announced RTR 7.0 god knows how many years ago and it still hasn't been released or given an update on its status...
Not that i'd bother playing it when we have a mod, EB, which has been developed over almost 4 years by real historians, history teachers/proffessors/archaeologists who actually know a thing or two about the ancient era...
EB makes all other mods, attempting to make R:TW more historically accurate, obsolete, because EB is the single most historically accurate mod, and it always will be.
The only other mods that aren't obsolete for R:TW are mods that simply make the game more fun, like Stargate: Total War or whatever it's called. Not my cup of tea though, i prefer EB.

Oblivion w/ Expansions
LOZ: Ocarina of Time
GTA: San Andreas.. or the newer one if I can choose future games
Mass Effect... and the next two if say they were to magically come out
Madden 08... 09 if say I'd get stuck on the island after August
And if I could sneak another one it'd definetly be Guitar Hero 3 and probably Pokemon Gold but I'm too embarrassed to admit to that.
