New Computer - Need New Games

I've never really been into computer games, mostly because I never had a decent computer, but now I just ordered one that can handle most games today fairly to really well. Anyways, I don't know many computer games, so what would you recommend besides WoW and Crysis?

I'd say COD4. It's much more fun on PC then consoles. Also, UT3. Really fast paced futuristic multiplayer awesomeness. Now, a lot of really hardcore UT fans don't like it, but I find it extremely fun.

COD4, Counter strike source maybe? orange box is good too, has like 5 games in one box. ummm.... Battlefield 2 is good too..... hmmmm what else is there? depending on what you like, there is a bunch of games out there.

UT3, Gears of War, World in Conflict, the Witcher, Sins of a Solar Empire, Oblivion, Hellgate London, the Orange Box, Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Quake 4, Doom 3, the Chronicles of Riddick, Bioshock, STALKER, FEAR, Company of Heroes, Rome Total War, BF2, and BF2142.

There are also plenty of games to look forward too, like Spore, GTA4, StarCraft 2, Fallout 3, and FarCry 2. Plus plenty of games from the past worth looking at too, like FarCry, Warcraft 3, Call of Duty, and UT 2004, and I don't even know what else. The list is almost limitless with PC games.

Oblivion, The Orange Box (especially team fortress, amazing game) , Counter Strike Source, UT3, Gears is okay, Sins sound good, COD 4 great, garrys mod is fun, audiosurf is neat, etc...

I don't know much about the game other than it was made in a language other than english and then badly translated. I just heard people say good things about it, that's why I added it to the list.
