View Full Version : S.T.A.L.K.E.R Problem...

So I reinstalled S.T.A.L.K.E.R and I can't see my damn crosshair. I've ticked "Show crosshair" in the options so it's definitely not that.
Any suggestions?

Anyhow, can't remember was a while since I've played it, however what game difficulty you playing on? Dunno if STALKER removes it on harder settings.

Anyway you shouldn't need your crosshair, just use the ironsights.

yeah you shouldn't be playing without ironsight anyway, unless someone justs bursts around your corner 2 feet from you, in which case you shouldn't need the crosshair anyway.

I have it on veteran. Do they remove it on that? I just find it convenient during close quarter fights.

I actually prefer to play without crosshairs. I'm just used to it now.

Nod. Also, get the patches man, lots of them. You probably only need one or two, as I'm sure they have included all the other ...thinks...no, think you need to get all the patches.

Awesome. I took it off and there it is. Thanks man. It's more of a comfort thing really considering it's near impossible to get a headshot with it. xD

Indeed it does. Although I wouldn't know how it is as my wireless isn't suitable for it's data exchange or something.

Awesome. It's a great game but there are bugs and glitches. Not sure if they can be patched if you download it though. Just have to wait and see.

So do patches fix the bugs and glitches, or is it still buggy afterwards? It's a fun game, but the bugs and poor performance (probably just my laptop, but still..) made me stop playing it.

I think they work to a limit but there are still the occassional problems that arise.
