I just watched it via a torrent. Opening scene is Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) getting fucked doggy style. And god damn she looks good.
Buy anyways yea it's a pretty good movie about two brothers who rob their parents jewelery store.
Anyone see it? Whadja think??

Great, great movie. Very intense scenes, amazing characters and development, all around great acting, Philip Symour Hoffman just continues to solidify the fact that he is one the greatest actors alive, Oscar worthy in just about everything he does. It's one of those scripts that are so well written that you are actually kind of shocked to find out its original and not based on a book.

This movie was excellent. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Sidney Lumet... what more could you ask for?
This was one of my top five favorite films from last year.

It's a shame this movie was overlooked by so many. Great film.

Sadly Junos edgy one liners and stupid nicknames beat this great film out among many others.

So nobody else thought this movie was badly acted and cheesy? Not to mention predictable?
The editing was awful. Ethan Hawke is a bad actor (at least he was in this movie). Philip Seymour Hoffman was the only good thing (besides Marisa Tomei's T & A) about this movie, and even he wasn't at his best.

I thought Hawke was all right, but nothing special.
The main thing that I question about the film is whether it would have been best to just tell it in a straight, chronological order instead of cutting back and forth the whole time.

Watched it last night. Indeed a great story. Philip Seymour Hoffman played his role well. Wasn't bored for a moment.

I could have quoted anybody in the thread, except for posters 6 and 7 aka idiot1 and idiot2, to show my opinion.
10/10 film.
