OK, if you watch the first one with the thought in mind that you don't need your mind and a ok with DENISE RICHARDS playing A PILOT, it's a descent movie. :)

Starship Troopers 2 was unwatchable. This looks just as bad but with ripped spaceship scenes from the first Starship Troopers thrown in.

Tell me about it. I watched the first hour of it, then took it back to the store and got my money back. It seemed like more of an experiment than a movie, like a bunch of teenagers tried to see if they could create a different film by recycling the first one.

the second movie sucked hard...
the first was quite interesting, for its 80s' movie look but I found it quite creepy because of the brainwashing commercials through the film.
