I wasn't really looking forward to this until I heard that it won't have level-scaling, that ruined Oblivion for me and I'm glad it's not in this game!

I'd rather have had the game to be developed by Black Isle or Bioware, but Bethesda is still pretty decent I guess..

No you wouldn't. Obsidian tends to fuck with the natural flow of games.

I loved Fallout 1. Unfortuanetly for me, though, my game of Fallout 2 got corrupted pretty far into it and I never got around to replaying it.

How will this game play, as far as POV is concerned?

It's not going to be as good as Fallout 2. We people who played Fallout 2 will never think any sequel to that beloved game will be able to match it.

I think it's going to be good though, better than Oblivion hopefully.

Oh yeah, definitely. They said in the preview that the VATS system is there and that it looks cool, but I don't know about kids. Hopefully (especially ones who mug you and then you want to shoot them. God, I hated kids in F2). But, even if there aren't kids, I'll totally be playing the game with my bloody mess perk and some super sniper skills and blowing people's arms, and heads, and hands, and feet, and legs, etc off. It will be epic.

edit: shots to the eyes were always so badass. And then when you got a critical and killed them you'd see (especially on larger enemies like super mutants) you'd see half their face get blown off. man, now I want to play some F2.

I've never played Deus Ex, but it isn't like Oblivion. I'd suggest getting the original Fallout games (1 and 2, not the other weird stuff). They are really good and even now with their horribly outdated graphics they are amazing.
