I cant beat Raining Blood, but I have beaten One on expert. Once you get past that ridiculous run near the end of the song (which is actually not half bad if you hold the leading finger down), its not half bad.

Try tapping. I use my left hand to hold down green and hit red. My right index hits yellow, my right middle hits blue, and my right ring hits orange. Just remember to lift off really fast.

Yeah but once you miss one note you're screwed. I've never tried tapping before, so I'm wondering if I should just stick to my usual playing instead of trying to pick up on something I'll probably get used to.

Elbow strumming is ftw. That's how I hit the first note, and any note after I screw up.

Also, if you're going to keep trying it without tapping, just remember that your main problem is PROBABLY lifting off the frets fast enough to hit the green. You could maybe skip the oranges entirely if you hit the rest of the notes well enough.

The only time ive ever used tapping is for the begginning to ttfaf, and its worth it.

TTFAF is shorter than both of them.

As for the intro - I can do it on training in slow mode, but I just can't fucking do it on full speed. AEnema try taping down the green button and tapping that way.

For "They are hammerons" try learning to Tap with the guitar sitting on your lap using left Pinky holding green & Ring/Red Middle/Yellow Pointer/Blue


It's really simple since the first series of notes are Red-Yellow-Blue-Red-Yellow-Blue giving u time to use another finger from your Right hand to hit Orange when u need to. Practice on Slowest and move up after u can get 90-100% easily on each speed.

I can get around 300-400k on ttfaf and this was the easist way for me to get through the impossible intro....
