Already a thread on this, but...
I personally think Obama is just an elitist who slipped up and let his inner sentiments come out too rashly.
For someone who's trying to initiate "change" and end discrimination in America, that's an incredibly generalizing statement to make.
It's bad that they "cling" to the 1st and 2nd Amendment? Apparently they're all bigots, too.

A fellow MA man. Why hello there:wave:
I like Romney.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Here's a link to the speech, not sure if it works

I cannot STAND Jack Cafferty. He claims that his "Cafferty File" is democracy at it's finest when he reads out the emails.
But I find it hard to believe when he's "Speaking for the rest of the country" When every single email says "zOMG Bush is evil. We will never survive from his ways!"

One thing people don't realise about Bush is that he is not a republican. If Bush were to be classified, he'd be a liberal. The democrats are taking advantage of this ignorance, but they're making mistakes along the way, as you can see in my link.

I'd like to see some reactions from Pennsylvania citizens. I wonder how many were Obama supporters before and who would absolutely not vote for him based solely on this speech. It seems as if the people who are making a big deal out of this are Clinton or McCain supporters and not former Obama supporters. No surprise really that this is getting so much attention. If a passionate pastor and some poor use of words are the worst that anyone can get on Obama, then I am really not worried about him losing votes.

I thought it was a ridiculously ignorant statement to make, although his clarification makes thngs marginally better. I don't think he's an elitist, though.
