I remember years ago when the Sound Blaster was brand new, a friend and I used its text to speech synthesizer to do a couple prank calls.
Anyone else ever do this? As long as you're a fast typist your responses are unlimited, unlike using a sound board.

Mac users must have fun with this since text to speech has been standard on macs for many years now.

Hehe, actually there's a great use for the text-speech service provided you have OS X. Say someone sends you a long article and ensures you it's great, but you just don't feel like reading it, or say you forgot to read an electronic article for school and are running short on time. All you need to do is highlight the text, then run it through the summarization service, break it down to a paragraph or two, then have OS X read the summary to you :) Great tool for the lazy, and overall pretty accurate.

How about using your own fucking voice! lol. Sooundboard calls are so weak and this just takes the cake. WHY?! That's the big question here

Because my own voice can't imitate Stephen Hawking. You're failing to see the potential here.
But I agree, the soundboards are getting old.
